I was talking to some friends of mine today and was reminded about one of my favorite events that is coming up this Saturday! Each year the College of Agriculture hosts their Ag Round Up and Taste of Alabama Agriculture: http://www.ag.auburn.edu/comm/news/2012/2012AgRoundupAuburn.php
This event is held to raise money for the College of Agriculture scholarships each year. The admission is $5 per person to get into the gate, and then you are free to sample all the goods produced in the state. Called Auburn’s biggest tailgate party, the event is unmatched for family fun with a visit from the Auburn University Band, the Auburn Cheerleaders, and usually Aubie makes an appearance, too! There is also a silent auction of great items with all proceeds going to benefit the scholarship program as well.
