Thursday, October 21, 7:00pm – “The Bachelors 2010” presented by Vows Bridal Directory a publication by Downtown Printing & Design. A charity event with 10 of the most interesting, good looking and ELIGIBLE bachelors paired with amazing date packages up for auction. The men to bid on are from all age groups with great professions, good morals and great personalities. Activities included in the date packages include things such as skydiving, helicopter rides, moonlight dinners, and so much more! In addition to eligible bachelor/date packages, date packages without a bachelor will be available for couples to bid on.

Thursday, October 28, 7:00pm-9:00pm – Auburn University Modeling Board is pleased to announce its first Couture for the Cure fashion show. The event will be held Thursday, October 28th from 7:00 till 9:00 PM at the Event Center Downtown in Opelika. The show will feature the Auburn University Modeling Board, breast cancer survivor groups, and clothes from local boutiques in Auburn. All proceeds will go to the East Alabama Medical Center’s Breast Health Program. Tickets are $12 in advance and can be purchased at Therapy, ellie, Private Gallery, the Locker Room, or by contacting Modeling Board members. Tickets will also be available for $15 at the door the night of the event. Please join us for an evening of fashion, food, and live entertainment as Auburn University, Auburn, and Opelika come together to make a difference. This production of Yasmina Reza’s ART will coincide with two major arts campaigns, Americans for the Arts’ National Arts & Humanities Month and Theatre Communications Group’s “Free Night of Theatre.” Stay posted for collaboration announcements regarding these two national events.

Friday, November 26, 11:30AM – . Auburn vs. Alabama Tailgate. Jimmy’s Restaurant of downtown Opelika will be serving tailgate fare. The game will be broadcast live on a really big screen TV so you and your friends can watch and have good eats too. The cost is $15 per person and includes Jimmy’s fare. Doors open 2 hours before game time at 11:30am. Snacks available at noon. Tailgate fare available beginning at 12:30 through halftime. 15+ craft beers selected by Fine Wine and Beer by Gus to choose from.
