Most of Auburn, AL residents know that before the home football games, the downtown area closes the streets for a Auburn Pep Rally and Block Party, complete with band/DJ and lots of fun! Tonight, two of our very own Prudential Preferred Real Estate Agents are playing in the band “Wendy and Them!” They are awesome, and tonight should be lots of fun as we all get prepared for Auburn to beat Arkansas tomorrow at Jordan Hare!
Here are some views from the last block party downtown. A friend of ours had her daughter’s birthday party on the Samford Hall lawn, and afterwards, we all walked over to hear DJ OZZ play fun music. Now my son Rankin is always asking to go to the “birthday party!”
As you can tell, there are people of all ages who enjoy the block party! It’s a great time! Pictured here in the left corner of the shot is my son, Rankin.
He quickly found the front row of the party! Here Rankin is busting a move up by the stage. I did not realize that my son was such much of a dancer!
This was getting ready to go downtown. He found my gardening hat and said he needed to wear it to the birthday party. Outfit complete with Dump Truck.
In the driveway getting ready to head to the Block Party. You have to wonder…. What exactly does a birthday party mean to a 2 year old? And why does he think a gardening hat and dump truck should go to the party, too?
Anyway, hope to see everyone downtown as we get ready for another great Auburn Tiger VICTORY against the Razorbacks!!
