Have you ever checked out www.thepioneerwoman.com? I am hooked! I always wondered what blogging was for and what it was about. THIS is what it’s about!
Today I headed out of the office at 11:00 to take Rankin to get his final (thank God, and there is too much controversy here) vaccinations until he is going to start kindergarten. He also had to get a splinter out of his foot (traumatic, but Dr. Greer is THE BEST PEDIATRICIAN!) and a flu mist.
Needless to say, after all of this, we had to go by Prudential to get a lollipop and then go home for a real nap in the bed and not one at daycare on the cot. After sending some work emails, I started getting droopy eyed and woke up about an hour later with, “MOMMY, GET UP!” coming loud and clear over the monitor!
We are so blessed to have a happy, healthy and VOCAL son.
The trauma continued with a haircut that his sweet former nanny ChaCha (Rachel) came over to our house and so graciously preformed. He did well watching Thomas, Bob the Builder, etc. In the end, it was just a bear hug to finish around the ears! We miss you Cha Cha!
Signing out to start another day early tomorrow. Thanks for everyone who helps make afternoons like today possible!
