This year’s 6th Annual Day in Clay hosted by the Dean Road Ceramics
Studio will take place on June 27 from 1-4 PM. Mark your calendars to attend this one day open house. The entire family is encouraged to visit the fully equipped studio, enjoy beverages and snacks as well as watch demonstrations by studio members. Visitors who want to have the experience of working in clay can pay $10 per person and select either an adult or kids project to create. All projects are led by Dean Road Ceramics Studio instructors and will be taught at 1 p.m., 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. Even if you’ve never worked with clay before, the instructors will be there to help you!
While everyone is invited, there is limited space available for those interested in creating with clay. If you want to make a project, stop by the Harris Center to reserve your spot! The center hopes that your entire family can join this fun event at the Dean Road Ceramics Studio for food, fun and clay. Since your handmade clay creation must have time to dry and be fired, please plan to pick up your work between July 13- 27.
