In case you didn’t hear, a recent episode of HGTV’s reality show “House Hunters” featured a great family searching for a home in beautiful Auburn. The Loughridge family has been a long time fan of the popular show, and when they decided to purchase a home in Auburn, they applied to be featured on the show and were selected soon after. This is the first time the show has been to Auburn, and this was the perfect family to showcase the city during its debut. The family says they have always loved Auburn, and the couple, who met here, wanted this engaging town to be the place where their two children grew up.
It’s not common for graduates of Auburn University to want to return to Auburn to plant roots. With great housing options, exceptional school districts, and a sense of safety, Auburn is definitely a contender as one of the top places to live in Alabama.
