City of Auburn Halloween Activities Set for Oct. 31
The Auburn City Council along with Mayor Bill Ham, Jr. have announced the Halloween trick or treat activities for the City of Auburn on Friday, October 31 from 6-8 p.m. Citizens of Auburn will have two exciting options for trick or treating this year:
Downtown Auburn Trick or Treat – The Auburn Downtown Merchants will partner with Auburn Parks and Recreation for the 14th Annual Downtown Trick or Treat on Halloween. This is a FREE community event that will feature plenty of candy, fun giveaways, live music, and various activities for children to enjoy. Children ages 12 and under can experience a thrilling alternative to door-to-door trick or treating. Streets downtown will be closed during this event, and children MUST be accompanied by an adult at all times. This is a great opportunity for families to gather together in beautiful downtown Auburn to celebrate this spooky holiday.
Neighborhood Trick or Treat – If heading downtown to trick or treat isn’t for you, children ages 12 and under also invited to participate in door-to-door trick or treating on Friday, October 31 from 6-8 p.m. Auburn’s Public Safety Department will provide additional patrols throughout the City during this event. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
