Join Auburn Parks and Recreation on August 1st at 6 p.m. to bid a fun farewell to the summer season with an exciting block party followed by an outdoor movie. This event, hosted by Chick-fil-A, will take place at Town Creek Park on Magnolia Avenue. Attendees can purchase food on site provide by Chick-fil-A, will be entertained with a FREE concert with live music, and will also have the chance to win door prizes courtesy of the Auburn Chamber of Commerce. The first 200 people will receive coupons and specials from local Auburn merchants.
If you’ve never visited Town Creek Park, you are missing out! The park is full of nature trails, beautiful scenery, and even boasts a large pond with turtles and fish; be sure to bring bread crumbs to feed them! Children will love the playground, which includes a slide, a child friendly rock wall, along with other exciting activities. Adults can enjoy the exercise equipment on the other side of the pond, or spend time taking a stroll while soaking up nature. With easy access and great proximity to downtown, Town Creek Park is truly an Auburn treat. So bring your blankets and chairs to the park on August 1st and make a day out of it!
