War Eagle from the Plains! Auburn is moving up in the ranks, and our Auburn family couldn’t be more excited. We have finally made it back into the Top 10 in Associated Press Ranking. Currently Auburn is listed at #8! Make sure to watch the game this Saturday as Auburn takes on the Arkansas Razorbacks! “For the first time since the Tigers made their run to the national championship in 2010, Auburn is back in the Top 10. Auburn rose three spots to No. 8 in the Associated Press Top 25, leaping past Clemson to become the SEC’s second-highest ranked team behind No. 1 Alabama. The Tigers (7-1, 3-1 SEC) also jumped over Missouri (No. 10) and Texas Tech (No. 15), but both of those teams lost to fall in the rankings. Auburn leap-frogged a Clemson team that stayed pat at No. 9 after outlasting Maryland. On AP ballots, Auburn was ranked as high as No. 5 and as low as No. 15. Eight undefeated teams remain — Missouri and Texas Tech both dropped from the ranks of the unbeaten — but Auburn is the second-highest one-loss team, trailing only a No. 6 Stanford team. Auburn is also part of a glut of SEC teams crowding the top 15 in the Associated Press poll.
