The annual Alpha Psi Rodeo is this Saturday also! This event is the largest fundraiser conducted by AU students, and it takes place each year. Alpha Psi is a fraternity of the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. The rodeo, originally called “The Round Up” was started in 1965 and began as an event to help the Vet School students unwind from their intense studies. Over time, the event became more and more popular and was opened up to people outside of the Vet School.
Now attended by over 15,000 people each year, the Rodeo is easily one of the favorite events in Auburn! The event will take place this Saturday April 14, at 2065 Sandhill Road. All proceeds for the ticket sales go to benefit local organizations and charities. For more information, please visit www.alphapsirodeo.com.
