This Friday, December the 9th kicks off Christmas in A Railroad Town for Opelika starting at 6:00 p.m. This annual event is geared towards all ages! Stores in downtown Opelika will stay open until 9:00 p.m. for holiday shoppers, and restaurants and food vendors will be open for yummy treats! There will be live entertainment and performances from carolers, as well as tours of the trendy new downtown lofts and even crafts such as wreath making. Admission is free, although some of activities will have a small fee.

The Opelika Post Office will be offering special non-metered stamps for Christmas cards at the Museum of East Alabama.
The Memory Project allows families to come in and make a recording from the night to take home. This will be at the Museum of East Alabama.
The Loft Living Tour will begin at 8:00 p.m. by Fringe and will last approximately 1.5 hours.
Trolley rides and hayrides will also be available!
