I just wanted to say thanks to all of our wonderful clients and friends for making 2011 such a great year for us! We were fortunate enough to receive the Prudential 2011 Chairman’s Circle old award again this year. Here is an excerpt from the email from Prudential:

What an amazing vacation!

I just got back from a great week long vacation to Yellowstone and Jackson Hole. What an amazing trip! We had a GREAT trip and I can not wait to go back! Here are a few pictures from the trip. Thanks to Annie for taking care of business while I was away.

Typically we don’t like to talk about awards but we just received the official “congratulations” letter from Prudential Headquarters that the team of Ryan Edwards and Annie Williams has earned top awards for 2010. This is an excerpt from the letter:

2010 National Champions!!!

War Eagle! What an amazing season. I am a lifetime Auburn fan and the dream came true Monday night. My wife and I were fortunate enough to be able to be there and what a trip it was! We had a blast and it will be something we will remember forever. A huge thank you goes out to my awesome partner for taking care of business while I was away. Thank you to everyone who made it possible! Here are a few pictures from the trip and a video I took when Byrum kicked the winning field goal.

Subdivision Spotlight: The Preserve

Things are really looking good in one of Auburn’s newer subdivisions. The Preserve is a large subdivision that was started around 2005 and never really took off. In the past year or so, a new developer has taken over and has done a lot of positive things and it really shows. If you have not been out there in a while, go see the changes for yourself. This week they had the grand opening of the awesome new pool and clubhouse complex. It is one of the best I have ever seen. They wanted to have a building that could be used to entertain, have birthday parties, and be used frequently by the neighbors. Below are pictures of the new clubhouse and pool.

Some of the things that make the neighborhood and new homes stand apart are all of the homes are energy Star rated from a 3rd party vendor, quality new construction out a price per square foot is very competitive, plus all of the neighborhood amenities.

A HOA fee of on $300 a year includes access to the clubhouse, pool, all the lakes and walking trails.

SEC Champions!

War Eagle! Congratulations to the 2010 Auburn Tiger football team. We are 2010 SEC champions! Auburn totally dominated the game and came away with a 56-17 victory. It was the largest margin of victory in SEC Championship history. If there was any doubt who the Heisman trophy will go to, it was laid to rest Saturday. Cam Newton was dominant as he threw for 335 yards and four touchdowns, while leading Auburn in rushing with 73 yards and 2 more touchdowns.

I went straight to Toomer’s corner after the win and it was crazy! It was one of the largest crowds I have ever seen.

Auburn is headed to play in the BCS national championship game. I am fortunate enough and am going! It will certainly be a trip of a lifetime. Hopefully Auburn can bring the trophy back to the plains.

Auburn is on Top of the Polls

It is great to be an Auburn Tiger. This past weekend was one of the best times I have had in a long time. Auburn beat LSU in an amazing game. I was at our tailgate watching it with lots of friends and had a wonderful time. Even though we are 8-0 I think I have aged 20 years this season. This past weekend was about as nervous as I have been in a long time. As you know by now, Cam Newton and the Tigers pulled it out and won 24-17. Many that know me know I am one of the biggest Auburn fans you will ever meet. I love Auburn football and always have. It has been a rough couple of years, but regardless of the win / lose record it is always great to be an Auburn Tiger! This year is special. The team has come together and are truly a special group of guys.

Last Sunday the BSC rankings came out and Auburn is #1. It means nothing at this point in the season, but it is pretty cool none the less. That got me thinking about Auburn and “polls”. It has been a great year not just for the football team, but a great one for the whole city. It makes my job so much easier when there are so many great things about the town I sell real estate in! Just this year Auburn has been in the news and gotten the following acolades:

Number 6 best cities for small businesses and and careers according the Forbes

Top 10 best places to live in the United States according to U.S. News

Auburn High School ranked #2 city school in Alabama according to Newsweek

Number 1 golf city in the United States according to Golf Digest

Best Places to retire in the United States according to U.S. News

Auburn football ranked #1 in the BCS standings for week 9

Auburn’s Cameron Newton sits at the top of the Heisman Race

If you have never been here, you can get a good idea from reading those articles that Auburn is a great place. If you have spent any time here, you KNOW Auburn is a great place. And not just when our football team is winning either. War Eagle!
