Real Estate and Rankin

So I said the other day on Facebook that I was going to start a new blog called “The Adventures of Real Estate and Rankin,” highlighting the funny (and challenging) aspects of being a mother of a toddler and working full time as a realtor. Of course by the time I get to the office, I had forgotten that this is something that I intended to do. All you mothers and fathers out there can relate! But this morning, the thought came back to me as I realized the perils of getting dressed prior to Rankin getting dressed. All dressed from work and needing to change a poopy diaper, you know going into the situation that it’s dangerous…. As I was changed Rankin this morning, he grabbed the dirty diaper out from under himself and starts shaking it! Quickly I was able to grab it from him, and several wipes and several squirts of hand sanitizer later, we were back to the door about to exit home and get on with the day! He is a mess, literally and figuratively, but he is our heart and a whole lot of fun! It’s great to live and work in Auburn, Alabama!
